JoAnn Courcelle is a Partner at the Law Office of Courcelle, Stansbury & Dupuy, with extensive experience in complex civil and commercial litigation. Admitted to the practice of law in October 2000, she is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned both her undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor.
Early in her career, JoAnn practiced bankruptcy and commercial litigation at Adams and Reese, developing a strong foundation in sophisticated business disputes and insolvency matters. Over time, her practice has grown into a broad and diverse litigation and advisory portfolio, representing individuals and businesses across a wide range of legal matters.
Recently, she has served as council aide to the Jefferson Parish Council, District 5. In this role, she is recognized for her strategic and practical approach, as well as her ability to navigate complex matters efficiently and with clarity.
JoAnn is deeply committed to the legal profession and public service. She resides in Metairie with her family and volunteers some of her time to support foster children in the New Orleans area. Her husband, David I. Courcelle, was recently nominated by President Donald J. Trump and confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
