David Courcelle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Pre-law. He has always strived for excellence in whatever course he chose, receiving numerous honors during his studies at Loyola University School of Law. Among these honors, he was a member of the Law Review and Justice-Loyola University Court of Reviews. He participated twice in the National Oralist Tournament, received the Am Jur Award in Federal Civil Procedure, and also in Business Organizations. He was also appointed as an instructor for legal research and writing at the University. 

David has put his knowledge to use in many ways, by serving as City Attorney for the City of Harahan for six years and continues to serve as City Prosecutor for the City of Harahan, a position he has held since 2015. As the founder of Law Office of David I. Courcelle, LLC in Metairie, he has concentrated on both Federal and State litigation in personal injury, commercial litigation, criminal defense, municipal law and Federal Law. David is committed to practicing in the Eastern District of Louisiana with the US District
